Thanksgiving was amazing!!!! It was so awesome to be with family and friends.

I am so thankful to have godly friends and the most amazing family ever!! Thank you EVERYONE for your prayers for my family and specifically for my dad. Tomorrow we hopefully find out some more information from the Mayo-clinic in Jacksonville.

God is amazing! I know that I don't deserve anything and yet God has given me soo much. I have enjoyed my 2 months at WOLBI soo much!! God has been teaching me about putting my relationship with Him over any other relationship I have and that has been awesome! My favorite quote, which sums up what I've been learning, is "Brokenness is not realizing that you need God, but that He is all you need." I love that! One thing that I feel so thankful for is the friendships taht God has given me! I ahve never had so many godly, encouraging friends!!! Mary and I really feel called to be with WOL and the encouragement that she gives is such a blessing!! Here are some random pictures........

I am learning so much after only 2 weeks of classes! I have never been so spiritually challenged in my life, and it's amazing! Our Chancellor's chapel on Thursday was so convicting and encouraging!! Mr. Lindstam spoke on Luke 10:38-42...the story of Mary and Martha. Martha was so busy doing other things that she forgot the "one thing that was needed"....to lay herself completely at Jesus' feet. That was convicting because here at WOL, I have so many things to do, such as study and read great books, but the ONE THING THAT IS NEEDED and should be my number 1 priority is my relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

One word can sum up how I feel about my year at WOL so far....AMAZING!! I love my roommates (well there is only 1 in my room so far)...but there are always more people in my room and i LOVE IT!! I have met some amazing people and our class is already very close. We are extremely busy down here....but it is worth it.....and I'm COUNTING IT ALL JOY (For those of you who have gone to WOL, you probably remeber George Theis teaching us that quote for our class in James, which has been amazing!!)!!

I'M HOME! It was an AMAZING summer!! I know that I say this after EVERY summer, but I believe that this was my favorite summer of all! And what's awesome is that I get to be at WOL for a WHOLE, ENTIRE year, Yay!! Anyway, here are some pictures from the summer....

Hey guys! Today was a completely amazing day! Started off with a Sr. Honors Field Day!! We were all on the practice field playin games and having a blast! Then tonight was the FBCW Sr. Cookout!! Amanda, Ellen, Bekah, Ms. Laurie, and I saran wrapped (sp?) our new Youth Pastor's car!!! It was so fun! Dont worry, we knew he could take it! We decided that we are going to all write him encouraging notes on the saran wrap rolls in order to make up for it haha!!

God has been teaching me a lot about resting in Him. Last weekend I went on a Girls Retreat. I had a lot of time to get alone with God, which was so refreshing! On that retreat, we were learning about the differrent names of God. We were asked to pray that God would make one of His many names stand out to us. Well, I happened to read Psalm 29 that day, and it just helped me rest in the Lord! In Psalm 29 , when LORD is used, it is actually meaning Yah-weh. Yah-weh was first used in Gen 2:4. It means a. Redeemer, and b. The ever -existant, active God (in relation to the nation Israel). Ok, well here is the totally awesome part...I sometimes have an unsettled heart about what God is doing with my future. Well, if you think about the nation Israel, they were God's chosen people. God had a specific plan for them, the Promised Land. They knew that's where God was leading them, but they had a lot of things happen before they actually ended up there. God, through His Word, was telling me to TRUST, and WAIT on Him. He reminded me of WHO HE IS!! He also settled my heart and gave me TRUE PEACE!! I am so thankful to have such a loving, merciful, and FAITHFUL LORD!!
